Message	backflow check valve and pressure guage. Pressurized the rail to 40 psi or so and left it that way for ~20 mins. If guage reading didn't change - assumed all was good (and it was). Just a way to avoid water immersion... PS - Hand pump was a garden sprayer with wand hose feeding the rail.
